What the Nubix Series Can do for You
POS Integration with Smart Text
Allow your clients to keep a record of cash register transactions.
The Nubix Series DVRs can connect up to 4 registers for P.O.S.
monitoring, while other standalone DVR brands can connect to only 1
register, if they have this feature at all!
Nubix DVRs can perform intelligent text capture. Unlike third party
solutions which only overlay text on the video, the Nubix generates
a searchable database that can be viewed along with the video. Use
the database to perform a text based search for looking up receipts
with specific words or numbers on them.
Active Access Control Integration
The intelligent text capture function described for P.O.S monitoring
operations are also available during Access Control integration with
Eclipse Access Control software. Your clients can keep an eye on
each access controlled door and record the users name, department,
face and user code. They can later search using the intelligent
text capture for any of the above mentioned characteristics. Even
INVALID entry attempts can be recorded, for example, a defective
entry card, an access attempt made after normal hours or a card that
has be de-activated.
Models Available with UPS Back Up
Nubix DVRs are available with a built-in uninterruptible power supply.
This backup power supply not only protects the DVR from power
spikes, it can supply power for up to 2 hours in the event of a power
failure. The ultimate in surveillance DVR dependability! (It does NOT
provide backup power to any attached cash registers, ATM machines,
cameras, access card readers, or any other attached devices.)
NubixUP uses an 18-19VDC/8amp power supply, will not work with
standard Nubix DVRs.
